Bloodstone is a form of green Chalcedony with rich Red Jasper inclusions. It also contains Iron Oxide like Hematite, Chlorite, Amphibole and more. Chalcedony is a form of Quartz, which is a powerful generator of amplification for any intentions. Bloodstone is a stone of courage and sacrifice. It is known to sacrifice it's colors, sometimes getting more pale, or in some instances, more intense and rich when used for energy intention. This crystal helps your heart chakra, blood health and especially circulates energy through your chakra meridians. Bloodstone removes anger and negativity, and boosts energy. It is an amazing stone for holding onto wealth, and by strengthening the heart chakra, it also imbues love into daily tasks and relationships.
There are two types of prevalent varieties of Bloodstone. African Bloodstone and Indian Bloodstone. African Bloodstone has more splotches of Red Jasper as Indian Bloodstone is more blue-green with tiny flecks of red.
