These additional 6 chakras are essential to activate in order to awaken our souls in preparation for ascension. The theme for these chakras are connectivity of our individuality to the collective consciousness, the planetary systems, and to the cosmos. To master these chakras is to have full awareness of the physical, mental, emotional, and comic self. It is to awaken psychic abilities, and achieve self mastery.
1. Earth Star Chakra
The Earth Star Chakra is the connection to mother Gaia. It is located about 15 inches below the feet in the etheric body. The Earth Star creates oneness with the Earth and is mainly used to keep the body grounded, and rooted to the wisdom of our ancient mother. It also acts as an anchor to all the other chakras in the body.
When connecting to the Earth through the chakras, imagine the root connecting to the Earth star and grounding your energy into the Earth. That is how to draw energy into the body from the Earth to cleanse and re-energize yourself. Keeping the Earth Star energized will help stay calm, rooted, aware, and focused.
Ways to activate the Earth Star is to do activities that involve being with the Earth. Go outdoors, camp, go to the beach, walk barefoot, take a hike, or do a tree meditation. Any outdoor activity will connect and activate your Earth Star especially when you set that intention to do so.

The awakening of the crown is known as the blossoming of the lotus flower and our access to pure consciousness. The word Sahasrara translates to ‘thousand petaled.’ This chakra is located above our head, outside our physical body. It is our connection to the infinite cosmos, and divine energy. The crown is the seat of wisdom, transcendence, and understanding of oneness of all life and consciousness.
Just as the crown chakra is the ethereal part of the chakra system, it does not manifest as physical on Earth. Water is a close representation because it is clear, it flows and takes the shape of anything it is in. It is vast, flexible, and essential to all life. As snow it becomes a deep white that's calm and divine, a snow that is vast like the vastness of the universe. The crown also manifests as a rainbow that shines all the colors and shows the reflection of water and light. The only other physical manifestation is through crystals, and flowers that show the unfolding of the beauty of nature that bloom and awakens into a magnificent structure. Just as the mind's lotus blooms with the awakening of the mind so does a flower with its blossoming.
The crown is associated with the hermetic principle of mentalism. This principle explains that everything in creation is mental, it's all a creation of the mind, and thoughts of the divine. Hence the saying, “created in the image of God.” The universe is alive. It lives through thought, through dark matter, through energy. The very dark matter that flows within us all that science knows of yet knows nothing about. It connects us to the cosmos and to one another. This law, this essence, is above all laws, it is the essence of creation, it is our Godly connection.
This chakra is all about our divinity. It is the place of enlightenment, divine truth, unconditional love, and oneness with everything. Our consciousness and thoughts, when guided by divine wisdom and understanding, aligns all the chakras and has the capability to heal us. When in alignment a person will release all judgment, and prejudice with the knowing that we are all one in the same, simple reflections of one another. One will be fully aware and on a journey of awakening into transcendence. A person with a closed crown is not very spiritual, and is very disconnected in their thoughts. That is a person that believes the tangible reality in front of them is all there is. A blocked crown can cause depression, confusion, and loss of faith. An over-stimulated crown is a person that is obsessed with spirituality and trying to understand so much that they get lost in it and neglect their body and humanity.
The crown chakra is beyond the physical body, it is not directly linked to any gland physically. However it emits the highest frequency of all chakras. It has the ability to affect all glands in the body by affecting the healing of all of the chakras through vibration and thought. It accesses the body through the nervous system, brain stem, and spinal cord. So it is able to reach every cell in the body through thought alone. It draws in divine energy from the ethereal to help heal us. This mental aspect of the body is how we can heal ourselves through thought alone.
To awaken this chakra, meditate regularly, practice yoga, be mindful, pray, and enjoy life with a loving awareness for everything. Prayer does not have to be specific to any god or spirit. Prayer alone is a divine connection that can stimulate the crown chakra. The best way to stimulate the crown is to align all the other chakras. To have a belief system that is good, and divine. To be connected to Earth, to the universe, to the stars and know that it is all one, all a source of divinity. That the creation of the divine is all around us. Eat purple foods like purple cabbage, mangosteen, and white foods like fresh cacao, or artichoke flesh.

Ajna, translates to ‘beyond wisdom.’ Known as the center of intuition, this chakra gives us the ability to look beyond the physical world, while discovering the truths in our world. With this in balance, we unlock metaphysical perception, psychic energy, deep intuition, insight, with a deep awareness and understanding of our reality.
This deep blue is found in the darkness of our skies or in the deepest oceans. Teaching that in order for us to access our third eye, we must first dive deep into the darkness of our world. The darkness that will reveal hidden truths, and teach us to question everything. For the deepest oceans, like our reality, have infinite possibilities.
This chakra relates to the hermetic principle of correspondence. “As above, so below. As within, so without.” This teaches us that the planes of higher existence and lower reality happen simultaneously and are directly linked to one another. With this understanding we can predict outcomes in our reality by drawing energy, and information from the phenomenal world. Our active third eye will then use deductive reasoning and observation to predict outcomes on the physical plane which can help us rise above and control any suffering that may come our way.
People with an overactive third eye tend to be involved with tarot cards, astrology, and other metaphysical activities. On the other end of the spectrum when a person's third eye is closed they lose touch with their psychic abilities and embrace a normal human life. We must remember that we are a balance of both, human and spirit and we must embrace them as one to be in harmony and live to our fullest potential.
The third eye is seated in the pineal gland and controls the pituitary gland, areas of the skull, eyes, brain, nervous system and the way we use our senses. The pituitary gland releases hormones that control the entire chemistry of the body. This gland regulates the release of hormones in the other glands of the body. The pineal gland is the key to activation of the third eye, as it produces melatonin which not only helps the body sleep, but also increases serotonin assimilation in the brain, and puts us in a lucid meditative state to have a deeper divine connection. The autonomic nervous system is stimulated through third eye activation that helps provide the entire body system with the nutrients they need to function properly; affecting the health of our blood, stomach, intestines, livers, kidney, bladder, eyes, heart, saliva, and genitals. Symptoms of imbalance are headaches, panic attacks, allergies, and sinus issues. Ill manifestations are glaucoma, neurological disorders, cerebellum, and eye health.
Like our eyes, the pituitary and pineal gland both react to light. So we need light to activate those glands to activate our third eye. The best light to energize the third eye is sunlight. Third eye activations can come in the form of mediations, yoga, and education. Gathering knowledge stimulates and activates the third eye through understanding the mind body connection. Eating blue foods like blueberries, blue algae, and blue lotus can help in activating the third eye.

Verb: I speak
Vishuddha translates to very pure. This chakra is the pure essence of truth. Being in the throat, this chakra is the expression of communication between oneself and others, and the communication between one’s mind, and body as it is the direct link between the two. This is one of the most important chakras because we can use it to release energy that no longer serves us from our entire body.
Calm like a blue sky, flowing like a waterfall, yet stern as a wave. The throat chakra must be used to express emotions, feelings, and thoughts in order to unlock the other chakras in the body. A kind, steady, and loving truth will help bring the body into a complete balance. For example, if there is a heartache that we hold onto we will feel stagnation in the heart chakra. But if we speak about it and express it, we can release energy and open the heart through the throat.
The throat represents the hermetic principle of vibration. We are what we speak. Literally, the words that come out of our mouths carry various vibrations that affect our physical body. Everything is in motion, vibrating all the time at different speeds creating various frequencies. When we speak in love we project a higher frequency of love and attract love. When we speak in hate we project a low frequency of hate and attract hate. That is what it means for our words to be spells, it is beyond just spelling. By speaking at a higher vibration, at vibrations of love, joy, and compassion then we are allowing for a healthy flow of energy out of us that in turn will attract healthy vibrations back. Speech is key in the law of attraction, and manifestation.
When in balance we use this chakra as our expression of love and compassion. We use it not only to release but also to give guidance from a place of loving and understanding, with an innate kindness. Not speaking the truth can block this chakra, usually a person is shy, introverted, and avoids confrontation when this chakra is blocked. When overstimulated a person will tend to speak about themselves, cut other people off, and be the dominant know it all in the conversation.
The throat chakra affects the throat, thyroid, shoulders, neck, mouth, jaw, teeth, and tongue. It is associated with the respiratory system, the thyroid, and parathyroid glands. The respiratory system is how we breathe which directly affects our lung health. The thyroid gland controls our body's metabolic rate by producing hormones that control how the body utilizes its energy. Without it there is an imbalance in dispersion of energy which leads to metabolic issues. The parathyroid gland produces hormones that regulate the amount of calcium there is in the blood. Making it vital for bone health, and the decalcification of our pineal gland. Physical manifestations of stagnation in the throat are a sore throat, bronchitis, cavity, mouth ulcer, asthma, neck pains, lung disorders, hypoactive thyroid, and bad vocal cords health. Negative energy swallowed from the throat chakra can cause digestive issues within the Solar Plexus Chakra.
The most effective way to heal our throat chakra is by simply speaking the truth, to others and to ourselves. To exercise the throat chakra you can journal, sing to yourself, chant, or hum. Humming OM’s is a powerful throat healer because it vibrates at such a high frequency that it begins to massage the internal nervous system and produce a powerful release of energy while raising the vibration of the entire body. Breath-work is also extremely powerful in stimulating the throat and lungs and to move stagnant energy out of the body.

Verb: I love
Anahata translates to ‘unhurt.’ This is where the heart is used to feel love, acceptance, compassion, kindness, and loving awareness. This is how we love ourselves, how we love others, how we use compassion to understand others to be able to come from a place of loving kindness. Loving awareness is the ability to be able to harness that love into everything in life from the traffic that slows our flow, or the mosquito that sucks our blood. To love everything with a full awareness is to master the heart chakra.
Mother Gaia expresses her love to us with the greenery of the Earth. The trees provide us oxygen to live, the grasslands trap carbon in the ground to regulate our atmosphere, and green foods provide oxygen to our blood with an array of health benefits for our bodies to function optimally. To keep us strong, nourished, and alive. The beautiful greenery of the Earth is about love, sacrifice, giving, nourishing, and being as one. As all the greens eventually get recycled into Earth and become part of the system of unity, oneness, and interconnectedness.
The heart chakra relates to the hermetic principle of polarity. The very essence of our creation is when a positive (masculine) and negative (feminine) ion come together as energy, and begin to multiply. We are beings of love, created out of love, to live in love. To understand that is to understand that everything comes in a pair, it is all in duality. Love is the same as hate, just a higher vibration of it. To love our hate is to raise the vibration of it and transmute it into love. To love everything in awareness, is to know that when you begin to love something, you can raise its vibration into something that is more lovable just by showing it the power of love. It is how we heal ourselves, and heal the world. The heart is the seat of the soul, it is where we find our inner essence of God, through the essence of love.
A balanced heart chakra means that we are open to giving and receiving love. It means that we have healed past any pain or trauma to the heart and accept all that is. Every heart break has a lesson. We tend to lose balance in the heart chakra when we misuse love, when we cross boundaries, or when we go through a sense of perceived betrayal causing mistrust. Which makes us cold and distant with other people. When the heart is overactive then we are pushing our love onto people and using it as a form of deceit, because that love masks the guilt we may carry.
The heart chakra is linked to our circulatory system and our thymus gland. The circulatory system is vital to regular functioning of the body, heart health, and to move fluids throughout our system. It used to be said that the thymus gland is no longer in use after puberty. However, new discovery says that is wrong, it simply shrinks but remains active. The thymus gland releases lymphocytes which are vital to stimulate the immune response in attacking any foreign invaders that are harmful to the body. This chakra is associated with the heart, lungs, arms, hands, and chest area. We can experience heart palpitations, or tightness in the chest with an imbalance in this chakra. Illnesses can manifest as high blood pressure, blood disorders, muscle spasms, cancer in that area, and heart issues.
To stimulate the heart chakra you can tap up and down your chest bone to send vibrations down to your heart center and get it moving, also stimulating your immune system. Gratitude meditations where you list the things you are grateful for are extremely effective to open the heart. Cacao ceremonies where you drink pure cacao in its raw form are also heart opening. Activities that require giving and sharing like charity work, cleaning the beach, cooking for your neighbors will also stimulate your heart center. Eat lots of green, wear green, and carry green or pink crystals.

Also known as the warrior chakra for being our source of instinctual energy; the Manipura translates to ‘lustrous gem.’ This is the coming together of our lower chakras, aligning our self confidence (root), identity (sacral), to our will power (solar plexus). This is where we store our chi (energy), also known as our fire. Where we learn to trust in our gut instincts and follow our life path.
The yellow of the Solar Plexus reflect on Earth as our vast hot deserts. Powered by the sun, it is a place of solitude, strength, self dependency, and pure instinct. This is where we walk in the vastness of the desert, climb the highest rocks, and harness our inner warrior. When you are told to trust your gut, this is the energy source that guides you. This is where we harness the power to pursue our life’s purpose.
The Solar Plexus relates to the hermetic principle of rhythm. It teaches that like a pendulum, our lives sway left and right into the ebbs and flows of light and dark. By trusting our instincts, we learn that life is not all roses and butterflies. That sometimes we need that inner warrior to power through hard times. This is the Plexus of control, where we learn to neutralize the negativity in life, and not allow it to affect us negatively. This is the Plexus that allows us to stand firm, and take control of the situation at hand.
When in balance you will have the confidence to let your wisdom flow, your decisions will be on point, and you will feel unshakeable and in control. We can experience an imbalance when we lose our power and no longer trust ourselves. That would make us very introverted, passive, and at a loss when making decisions. When this chakra is overactive a person will tend to be aggressive, assertive, and always trying to be the dominant one in the room.
The Solar Plexus works with the stomach, upper intestines, lungs, mid and upper back area, as well as the upper back. It directly impacts the pancreas and the diaphragm which have a huge effect on breathing and secretion of digestive hormones. The pancreas is the source of insulin and other hormones needed to properly digest, and assimilate the foods we eat. An imbalance would manifest in digestive issues, or discomfort in the pancreas, liver, or kidneys. Which can lead to diabetes, digestive malfunctions, adrenal issues, hypoglycemia, and back pain.
To restore the Solar Plexus spend some time in the sun, and do activities that stimulate trust within yourself. Things like martial arts, zumba, rock climbing and drum circles are powerful activators to connect with that inner warrior and find a deeper truth within infinite possibilities of potential. Eating yellow foods like peppers, squash, ginger, and lemons will also help stimulate that area.

Svadhisthana is translated to ‘the place of self.’ This chakra is all about self identity, discovering your creative energy, movement, and fluidity. It is our connection and acceptance of others and represents a person's creativity, sensuality, and sexuality. With an open sacral we are in a free flow of creative expression. This is the centre for creativity in life, and creation through expression.
This gorgeous Sacral orange is seen in the reflection of the sun rising and setting in the sky. The beauty of creation, of mirroring in light reflection, showing a tender loving, and a balance in the transition from light, to dark, and back to light. This teaches us that there is a balance in the light and dark. That we have to go deep into our darkness, to reveal our light. To face past trauma, and transcend it, to spark the inner passion for love, life, and sex. Every person in life is but a reflection of our own projections. When we do the inner work, we learn to love ourselves, which in turn helps us open up to others and connect at a deeper level.
The sacral connects to the hermetic principle of cause and effect. Every cause has an effect that results from it. Like to every action, there is a reaction. Our creation as humanity happened at a cause and effect that is beyond the reach of humanity. On Earth creativity, sexuality, regeneration all happen as causes of a series of events that lead up to that very movement. There are some causes and effects that are beyond our control. Everything is subject to this law down to a molecular level. Nothing is accidental, we all have a purpose, a creativity, and a different way of expression that all results from the different causations we have experienced throughout our lives that now bring us to the effect of our expression as a human. Our personal expression is a unique footprint of expressive genius we all have.
When in balance, we would be comfortable in expressing intimacy, and passion to ourselves and others. When under stimulated, we will lack passion, and not be open to other people and new experiences. When over stimulated we can be very dependent on others, and have an irregular sex life. An imbalance of the sacral chakra can present itself as over indulgence like overeating, or addictions.
The sacral is directly connected to the reproductive glands that govern our sexual organs, ovaries, testis, bowels, and lower intestines. Hormonally for women it affects our estrogen and progesterone. These hormones are vital for sexual reproduction, assisting in a woman's menstrual cycle, and pregnancy. For men it affects testosterone; balancing the need for sex, and muscle growth, which affect bodily strength and stimulate sperm production. On a physical level it can manifest sexual disorders, kidney and urinary tract issues, menstrual issues, chronic low back pain, problems with spleen, kidney stones, ovarian cysts, pelvic disease, vaginal cancer, and prostate cancer.
A good way to balance your sacral is to always enjoy things that are in alignment with your higher self. If it does not nourish you, don’t do it. Body movement is the best way to stimulate the sacral chakra. So you can try dancing, working out, yoga, anything that gets you in that flow. Slow dancing specifically stimulates those glands by vibrating at a similar frequency as the sacral. So try slower movements like slow tribal dances, qi gong, tai chi, or sensual dancing.

Muladhara translated means ‘root support.’ Located at the base of the spine this chakra represents our self love and basic survival necessities like water, food, shelter, and security. All the same base necessities of Maslo’s Hierarchy of needs. At the same time this chakra keeps us grounded, connecting our energies to mother Gaia’s energy, to our family, and tradition.
The root represents the fire at the core of the Earth symbolizing the fire within. An untamed fire can be dangerous to our wellbeing. The root is to dive deep within the core of our being, to tear down the walls we have built, to love ourselves for all that we are. For the core of us, the past we carry, that is the root of what prepares us for the person that we are becoming.
The root also relates to the hermetic principle of gender. The masculine (+) and feminine (-) make up everything in our Earth down to a molecular structure, like protons and electrons. The place of creation, generation, and regeneration. All beings carry both masculine and feminine energies. Both energies serve a purpose, and are needed by both genders. This is the root of the physical manifestation of polarity. A balance of both energies is essential for the maximization of one's true self.
When this chakra is balanced, a person will be financially stable, feel secure, and love who they are as they are. An overactive root chakra can make a person come from a place of lack. To become materialistic, and never satisfied with what they have. When it is out of balance, emotions like anxiety, panic, fear, and uncertainty arise. By stimulating the root chakra, one will feel higher energy levels, enthusiasm, increased physical strength and endurance. Fostering a sense of self love and security. It is extremely powerful in igniting the rise of the kundalini energy, leading to a full natural awakening. Kundalini awakening spirals Life Force energy up through the body around all chakras resulting in a profound spiritual experience.
The root chakra is associated with the adrenal glands that regulate the hormones secreted in response to the fight or flight mechanism, hence its link to survival. Physically, an imbalance would manifest as discomfort in the lower back, hip, colon, kidneys, and genital area. More severe cases would have correlation to an imbalance which can cause weight issues whether obesity or anorexia, auto-immune diseases, or cancer in that region.
To energize the root chakra you can spend more time in nature, eat deep red foods, dress in red clothes, or use crystals that match that frequency. Activities that would aid the root are gardening, walking in nature, being in the ocean, or going on a hike. Earth crystals are extremely powerful at grounding the root to the vibrations of the Earth to stimulate the overall healing of that area by drawing in divine earthly love.

The chakras have an energetic nervous system known as meridians, or Nadis (translates to rivers) where the energy flows through them. The chakras locations are the main points where meridians cross paths with the nerves of our seven main endocrine glands and our nervous system. Which is how each chakra is directly associated with the same parts of the body that it overlaps. When a chakra is under or over stimulated, the energy flow is out of harmony, putting the physical aspect in the body out of harmony, which results in a physical manifestation of illness or discomfort.
The endocrine system is what produces and regulates hormones in the body. Modern health highlights hormone balance as one of the most important keys to optimal health. Hormones are the chemical messengers that regulate the body's processes. So when they are out of balance, the body does not function the way it is meant to. Since the 7 chakras are each connected to one of the 7 endocrine systems, when a chakra is out of balance then that endocrine system is out of balance thus putting the body out of harmony. Which results in a physical manifestation in the form of illness, disease, or mental instability.
Symptoms are vital to the survival of humans because they are the body's call for help. They bring awareness to an imbalance that is happening to us on an energetic level. The body cannot speak to us verbally. The body speaks subconsciously, and when we neglect our body that is when we begin to see illness which is the body's cry for help.
This is where the concept of mind, body, and spirit come into play. We must be in tune and aware with our mind, our thoughts, and how we think about ourselves and our lives. Which directly impacts our body. For we are what we think. When we think ill thoughts, our body becomes ill, and that disrupts our spirit. When our mind is in balance, our chakras are also in balance, so our hormones are in balance so we do not become ill. Staying in balance keeps us in full health in our mind, body, and spirit.
Our 7 chakras are split between the top and the bottom; the higher chakras affect our mental health and stability and represent dicing energies. While our lower chakras affect our body structure, and functionality while representing our instinctual and basic human needs. The lower ones vibrate at a lower frequency that are connected to our wants and desires. While the higher ones vibrate at a higher frequency that relate to more spiritual and etheric potentials. Each chakra has a specific optimal vibration, and a color that matches that vibration. When out of harmony and not vibrating optimally is when our glands react negatively and get thrown out of balance.

Just like all living beings have a magnetic field that surrounds it, each chakra has a magnetic field that connects to its surrounding organs. Our chakra system consists of 7 main chakras, each emanating a different frequency by vibrating at a different speed. These chakras are our connections to our energetic bodies that absorb what science calls subtle energy which can be translated and used on a cellular level to affect different physical aspects of the body.
Although chakras can affect our physical body, they are by no means physical. Our aura is invisible. Tt has a very low density and does not manifest in our dimension therefore cannot be seen by the average naked eye. The physical body has a high density that manifests itself as a tangible, and visible. The chakras are right in between the density of the aura and body. They work as a connection between the two to bridge the gap with communication through energy and electrical charges.
As we live our everyday life, just breathing, thinking, and performing regular functions we stimulate the movement of energy throughout our body through neurons, and nerve pathways. The brain itself works through various neurotransmitters that fire and wire electrical charges to create what we call thoughts, hence creating our consciousness. Chakras are energy centers that are connected to our consciousness that influence every aspect of our physical and energetic being.
This is where the concept of you are what you think comes into play. The chakras are a direct link to our consciousness. It is what bridges our energetic and physical bodies. So our very thoughts are what influence every cell in the body. Our consciousness, our thoughts, how we think, and how we speak to ourselves are the cause of every effect that happens to us on a bodily and energetic level. By working on our chakras, and stimulating them into harmony, we can achieve a harmonious consciousness that will help in eliminating illness, and unblock any limitations we may face in our bodies.
